Your satutory legal rights are not affected by any terms given here. You, the customer, have the right to cancel within seven days of purchase, or seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). Goods must be unsused and in original packaging unlesss faulty. If you decide to cancel your order, you will have your payment returned by the method used to pay, ie card to card pay-pal to pal. Please note these rules do not apply to specially made parts.

Shipping: For stock items we dispatch same or next working day, if an item is out of stock we endeavour to order the same day and lead times vary between manufacturers. You will be advised of any delay. In most cases of non-stock items we can dispatch items within 30 days. Some parts such as gears take a long time to make and long delays can be unavoidable, please contact BDK for stock levels if your order is urgent. Currently BDK uses Royal Mail, UK Mail and DHL as its delivery agents & BDK reserves the right to choose which method to use on all orders. Price for delivery is shown at checkout before payment based on the weight of the parcel. Some items such as large carbon parts are given an artificially high weight to compensate for the large volumetric cost.

Returns: Other than distance selling regulations goods are only accepted for return in the event that they were incorrectly supplied by ourselves, or are faulty and the following conditions are satisfied: We are notified within 7 days of receipt. Items are returned fastest route possible. Items are returned carriage paid. Items are returned complete in suitable packaging for the journey. All returns are to be accompanied by your name, address, invoice number and reason for return. BDK is not responsible for any labour charges incurred during the fitment or removal of faulty or incorrectly supplied parts. If returning from OUTSIDE the EC you must write "Faulty mail order items returned - do not charge duty". if you do not do this and we are charged for import tax you will not be refunded this portion of our costs. We will agree between you and us to replace or refund prior to return of the goods so stock can be controlled accurately. Goods which are correctly supplied by us, but which you wish to return for any other reason than being faulty, will only be accepted subject to complying with all the above conditions. They will also be subject to a 25% restocking fee to cover our processing costs. Returns for EEC residents: If you are resident within the EEC then the following additional rules to those shown above apply under the Consumer Protection, Distance Selling Regulations 2000: You have the right to cancel your order at any time up to the end of seven working days after receipt of the goods. A working day is any day other than a weekend, Bank Holiday, or other Public Holiday. If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation prior to any goods being shipped you must give notice to BDK via e-mail giving details of the goods ordered, the date they were ordered and your reason for cancellation. You do not have the right to cancel the contract if the order is for goods which by their nature cannot be returned, or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, any non-stock goods ordered specifically for you on your instructions (for example a specially made shock absorber), or any goods ordered specifically for you on your instructions for which a deposit has been paid. To exercise your right of cancellation after goods have been shipped you must give notice to BDK via e-mail giving details of the goods ordered, invoice number and your reason for cancellation within seven days of receipt of the goods. Goods returned by virtue of this clause must be returned within 14 days of their receipt by yourself in their original packaging and with all relevant packaging, seals and enclosures intact and unbroken. Failure to comply with this clause will result in a fee of 25% of the invoiced value of the goods being retained to cover the costs of replacing the damaged packaging. If you choose to exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been dispatched to you then you are responsible for returning them to us at your own cost. You must take reasonable care to ensure that the goods are not damaged whilst in return transit to us. You are responsible for any loss or damage caused as such, we therefore strongly recommend that you use an insured carrier service to return the goods to us. Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract and returning the goods we will refund within 30 days of the receipt of the goods by ourselves.
