With integral aluminium plate

 KR1-R / KR1-S 35mm Crankcase inlet rubber

This is a copy of the KR1-R crankcase inlet rubber to take the 35mm carbs.

Viton with integral aluminium plate for additional strength.

Designed for use with supported carbs (ie with an airbox rubber also attached).

One of the parts required to convert KR1's and KR1-S's for use with 35mm carbs.
Also required is the stuffer for the standard reed block (which will be listed separately) or V-force reed block (same) and perhaps some change of the stuffer for that too (as yet untested.
Finally a larger airbox rubber is required for the other side of the carb and the airbox inlet needs the bridge machining out.

We intend to release these as a complete kit (intake rubber, carb and airbox rubber) at a later stage with two options - either the airstriker carbs or the carb shown in the photos which will be the cheaper option.  Of course there will be a saving for buying the kit complete.  We will sell the stuffer or the V-force reeds separately to avoid having innumerable kits.

Tests with the carb shown, stuffer and sample airbox rubber have shown 4bhp gain on a completely standard KR1-S which shows no sign of love in the last 10 years or more.  We have a jetting setting for that carb and hope to have those out on the shop next week.

Of course we can supply airstriker carbs if required and will also be able to provide jetting for a standard carb.

It has been suggested that certain alternative rubbers can be used on the airbox side although as I understand these require the airbox to be cut to fit which is not the case with the airbox rubbers we intend to provide.  I trust you all realise that this development takes time and money which we have to earn at some point - so please bear with us during the development period.  Most of you will know it's usually worth the wait.
